[DOWNLOAD] DA LUVCHYLD: HIP HOP IZ HOME (LIMITED EDITION)
When I switched in 2009 from DA LUVCHYLD to TONY DOE, it was because I wanted to separate the unsuccessful hip-hop act from the emerging broadcaster. Some thought it wasn't such a great move. I had a deeper insight and I couldn't be bothered with explaining it to anyone. However over time, I've grown to appreciate the body of work from a really talented rapper who probably just wasn't as enthusiastic about his art as was expected. Well, when marketers tell you endlessly that your songs won't sell, it does leave a dent on your self esteem. I'm thinking of heading back to the studio in a bit and bridging the gap between my era and what's out there today without losing substance...though I'm not sure I'll be re-enacting Da Luvchyld's aura.
